that's interesting to say the least.

I saw it in a pop-up ad for Wavee. Usually I just hit close, but I looked it over and saw the pictures with the stories we all wrote to them (for 25 bids). They took our stories and put all as "testimonials" in their advertising. I didn't know they were going to do that, I thought it was just a "Facebook" page contest.
What do you guys think about that?
This is what they had on the Discussion tab on their Facebook page (via copy & paste):
[ Hey Wavee Fans! We've got a BIG contest! That's right, this one's BIG!
We want to hear your stories. What's the best thing about Wavee? Why do you like it? What's special about it? What experiences have made you stick with us? Tell us everything!
Here's what to do:
1) Submit your masterpiece to this thread on the discussion board.
2) Send a photo of yourself to Callie@wavee.com.
(Too simple, right?)
You have until FRIDAY at NOON (EDT) to post your "goods" to this thread on the discussion board. The best submissions will receive 25 CREDITS EACH and will be posted to a new page on our website!!
Good luck and have fun! ]
They stated "will be posted to a new page on our website" which means to me that Wavee users will be seeing my comments, but they have changed it to be advertising thrown at people via pop-up ads. Maybe I'm over-reacting, but does ANY Penny Auction site have the right to use our images and words without our express approval? Is ANY THING written on Facebook "fair game" for these site?
Any comments, opinions?
