New Site & Beta Test Launch This Weekend

Hey! I am ready to launch my Beta test and need help.
I am Cheryl, owner of ABC PENNY AUCTIONS. I have posted a few times and have been learning from everyone.
On Saturday we are going to launch our Beta Test and make sure we have all the kinks worked out. Im not sure what I need to do with PAW to set up the beta test here so I will be watching for your comments. If anyone has problems please email or let me know here. You can begin registering tomorrow, Friday and we will be on the site and here at PAW making sure we are able to respond to any questions or suggestions.

I would like to set up an interview with Penny Auction Watch and let everyone get to know me and listen to your feedback.

I am also making another post for Senior Members and Owners and would like to get your ideas.

Everything is just a test auction. I think I will add some "rich" stuff so we can all pretent for a few days! How about a New Mercedes! or 60' yacht! Will add those later.

And I will delete Bella1277.

Nope! Hairballs not a problem! But she has scratched all of the letters off my keyboard.

Thanks to everyone that has signed up so far! We have found a few things that need fixing and we are working on that now. If some of you dont mind, use the bid butler to be sure it works ok also.

Just wondering why the yacht says "sold" but the timer is still counting down.

We got that fixed with the timer. We changed the time to Central time and it happened right when the auction was ending and it messed it up.

We are working on putting the number of bids you have in your account on the home page once you have logged in. I like that in other auctions I have played in.
Also adding contact info to home page.

I like that a lot, also. Wish all sites had that feature.

Your kitty clone is driving me crazy. I keep seeing it, reading your post and thinking "I don't remember saying that." Then I realize it's not my kitty!!

I took a look at your site and it's very nice and the descriptions you use are very good.

one thing i would recomend (just for the sake of any liability) is that you put somewhere on the main page that you are just beta testing and that noone is actually going to win something. Just because you know (or maybe you don't) that someone will stumble accross your site and go through all the processes involved and win that rolls you have listed and think they are actually going to get it - BIG BOLD LETTERS UP AT THE TOP SOMEWHERE if you know what i mean (sorry that is what a lawyer recommended I do if I did the testing with actual real world items, yes i spoke to a lawyer very in depthly about the site i built).

Only other thing I could see without going in and looking for alot of things wrong was that all your contact pages, terms pages and stuff on the bottom should be filled in - but hey that's the legal depts problem!

Just kidding, i don't mean to sound rude or anything the site really does look great - good luck with it!

As far as the bids, this weekend when we are through testing I will be deleting all bids and then go back and give everyone that signed up this weekend 15 bids. 10 for signing up and 5 for helping. So when we launch the beginning of Jan. everyone will have 15 free bids to start.

Just signed up and waiting for my activation email, just one thing on signing up it asks if you have read the terms and conditions, but there are no terms and conditions to read, if you click to read them you are taken to the home page only, so i do not know what i have signed up for, always read the small print,... there is none!, now that's living dangerously.

All the best for your site, if i can participate in your site, as i live in England, that's another thing!.
