I don't get what the hold up is on points either? They use to have amazon gc. Other PA sites, with redemption points, have bids & other items. Some offer both.

LoL... it can certainly feel like that at times on there but hang in there and you can snag a good one every once in a while I tend to find on the bigger ticket stuff that if you haven't snagged it very early then you are most likely going to end up at B.I.N or close to it.

Yeah there's some crazy sick jumping on that site... I've had bidders jump after over 1000 bids have been put into a NO B.I.N auction. I am always looking over my shoulder on the B.I.N auctions there as the jumping at times can be quite shocking. All you can really do is remember the names of those that cost you and return the favor at a later date. Just to help you out a little, I tend to find that the later in the evening the auction starts, then the more likely you are to be mauled by jumpers and the more competition you are likely to face. You only need look through the ended auctions to see that there are definitely some great bargains to be had there though... just gotta get to know who is who there, like who the PB's are there, who will go to B.I.N and over on the big ticket items, who the jumpers are, who are most likely to walk etc. You'll work it out if you watch enough and look through the ended items.

Good luck with your bidding there... and you can rest assured that I would never jump you... well unless you jumped me of course lol. Sellmoo is still one of my favorite sites

I just responded by doing the same to him later on, and on a $299.99 value auction at that, he usually stops at B.I.N if you watch, and at 30% that in itself can be quite costly. I have probably spent more time paying back favors on that site than I have going for the goodies I would like to keep LOL. That dude that jumped right at the end is also new to Sellmoo as I have never seen them bidding there before... and this past couple of weeks has seen an influx of new bidders that are more than prepared to drop bids... Like I say though, you can certainly get some good deals if you time it right.

I Know I Know!!! I haven't see you on either site, before yesterday, so I think you are following me! It's slim pickens in the PA world these days, so I imagine we'll be seeing each other more often. lol

Our PA world is getting as bad as the housing market.... owners just walking away, leaving the bank (bidders) holding the bag Just makes ya sick when you win $100's in items, but when they close up shop, you get those e-mails from PayPal... You have been refunded .05 cents! I think it's time to demand PA owners have their Bid Pack sales listed as TANGIBLE Goods and add to the T&C: In the event we screw you, bid packs WILL be refunded & are NOT considered to be Intangible goods.

No worries ..certainly didn't want you thinking I was saying that it was you that jumped when we both know that wasn't the case. I figured the penny would drop sooner or later when it came to whom I was actually referring ;) ...and yes I also had many an angry moment with the bidder from Transylvania... that one has the same style wherever they bid... hardly a wonder they find Speedyfinger such a fun playground I didn't even stop at B.I.N when that particular player was the one to jump such is my disliking for the way they play

If you don't have netflix yet, I would sign up for a free month trial and right before that ends (and they are about to charge your card) you redeem the gift certificate and it is applied to your account. I don't know if you can apply more than one at a time, but when the first one is about to run out I know you can apply a second one so that one is no being used.

My pleasure! In netflix got to "Your account". On this page towards the bottom right you will see "redeem gift or special offer" Just make sure you apply it right before the next billing cycle day so they don't charge you for the next month (that is, WHEN you win won )

About a month. It may sound like a long time but as you may/may not know, that's actually not so bad considering how long some of these sites can take.

I'd take a month long wait over being ripped off and receiving nothing any day of the week.

I will say whenever I haven't gotten something in a reasonable amount of time... I email them & they do get right on it. There have been two auctions where I didn't get the item when I should & one was taken care of the following day & the other, I received in 3 days after e-mailing them. Sometimes they are late with an item, but I never worry about them closing up shop & leaving me empty handed. This comforts me after being screwed by many others
